Singapore Red Cross appoints McCann Healthcare

SINGAPORE - Singapore Red Cross has appointed McCann Healthcare Worldwide Singapore as its official communications partner following a successful collaboration last year.

Singapore Red Cross appoints McCann Healthcare
McCann had launched a blood donation drive across the island-state which saw a surge in overall awareness on blood donations among the public and youth.

The appointment will also see the agency taking on the design and artwork of the 60th Anniversary celebration of Singapore Red Cross this year.

Carol Teo, head of corporate communications, Singapore Red Cross, said: "The spontaneity, creativity and vibrancy of the team from McCann Healthcare Worldwide helped to bring our blood donation campaigns to a whole new level. In the year that we have worked together, its work has significantly contributed to an increase in the public's awareness and helped to change mindsets."

Rohit Sahgal, managing director, McCann Healthcare Worldwide Singapore, added: "The Singapore Red Cross in partnership with the Health Sciences Authority exemplifies the successful face of public health in Singapore. By encouraging wider awareness of the need for blood donation, we're ensuring a new generation of donors whose blood saves so many lives."
