Sheena Jeng makes U-turn to Publicis China after 10 months with DDB Taiwan

Jeng (pictured), former CEO of Publicis China, resigned from Publicis Groupe last March and moved back to her home country of Taiwan. She joined DDB Taiwan on 8 March 2011 and worked alongside Roy Soetanto, co-president and managing director of DDB Taiwan.

Jeng is taking back her old role at Publicis China, an undisclosed source from the agency told Campaign. Campaign attempted to contact Laurie Kwong, CEO of Publicis Greater China, and CH Yang, MD of Publicis Guangzhou and Shanghai, but could not reach them due to the Chinese New Year public holiday.

Jeng, who spent four years at Publicis China and 12 years in total with the Publicis Groupe, first joined D'Arcy Taiwan, which was later acquired by Publicis Groupe, in June 1998 as executive creative director. She became managing director in 2000.

She played a key role in the transformation of D'Arcy into what became Publicis Taiwan, where she was promoted to CEO in 2002, and won Agency of the Year twice. In 2006, she moved to Shanghai as CEO of Publicis China.
