Publicis Worldwide appoints international CD, sets up Creative Board

PARIS - Publicis Worldwide has appointed Erik Vervroegen as its international creative director. He will join the agency's newly formed creative board chaired by Arthur Sadoun, managing director of Publicis WW.

Vervroegen joins Publicis WW from Goodby Silverstein & Partners San Francisco, where he was an associate partner, and is tasked with strenghtening the creative departments of all countries not currently represented on the board. He will also lead the creative direction of the agency's global Ray-Ban account.

“Erik’s arrival is a strong signal of our desire to bring the best talent on board and work collaboratively together with the common goal of making Publicis Worldwide one of the most creative networks in the word,” said Jean-Yves Naouri, executive chairman of Publicis WW. 

Also appointed to the new creative board, formed yesterday by Naouri, are Publicis WW chief creative officer Olivier Altmann, PublicisMojo Australia co-chairman and chief creative cfficer Craig Davis and Publicis & Hal Riney chief creative officer Kevin Roddy.
