SINGAPORE - SPH's leading bilingual news and entertainment web portal, Omy.sg, has revamped with personalised services including a customisable homepage, 3G mobile vodcast, and educational features on learning the Chinese language through news articles.

Omy.sg revamps with added features
Users can now drag and drop the placement of their favourite content to customise the portal’s homepage to suit their own personal preferences and view their favourite vodcasts on-the-go.

They can also make use of the language-learning features to learn Chinese through a unique text-to-speech feature across all its news articles to enable all stories to be read out with a mouse click via an automated text-to-speech program.

The portal’s newly-added features are in line with its primary objective of catering its news and entertainment content to bilingual Singaporeans. Omy.sg saw 10 million page impressions last month, strengthening its position as the top Chinese-focused website targeted at young bilingual Singaporeans aged between 18 and 35 in the city-state.
