MRM China tipped to win digital business for L'Oreal's Active Cosmetics Division

SHANGHAI - MRM Worldwide China is set to win the digital account for L’Oreal’s Active Cosmetics Division.

L’Oreal China held the digital pitch in late 2010 for its Active Cosmetics Division, which covers three skincare brands — Vichy, La Roche-Posay and SkinCeuticals.

The agency is still in discussion with the client over the contract. A source close to the account said: "This long-term assignment will be pioneering for the cosmetic industry. it marks a brand new digital platform to boost the distributions and scale for these brands, particularly in e-commerce."

McCann Worldgroup holds the L’Oreal Paris and Maybelline accounts in China, though the client also works with a number of agencies including Nurun, Digitas and other local agencies on a project basis.

Reported in March, L'Oreal launched a regional media review in Southeast Asia.
