SINGAPORE - The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) has awarded Arc Worldwide the contract to revamp its Army internet portal following a tender process.

The tender, which was first launched in July 2009, saw up to ten agencies register their interest in the initial stages.

According to a statement, Arc Worldwide is expected to make the portal more engaging using new media properties and platforms for national servicemen in the city-state to obtain regular updates and news on the defence force.

The Publicis Groupe agency’s brief includes consumer research, information architecture planning, visual design and development of interactive elements for the website.
