Hyundai Motor Group’s marketing arm, Innocean, has renewed its global media mandate with Havas Media following an internal review. The remit spans automotive brands such as Hyundai, Kia and Genesis across Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
The renewed agreement is effective January 2026; it will be jointly managed by Havas Media and Innocean’s regional teams in Seoul, Frankfurt, Dubai, New Delhi and Jakarta.
Innocean has formally worked with Havas Media for more than a decade, the latest renewal extends the long-standing partnership across the group’s priority growth markets.
According to Havas Media, the renewed agreement will place an emphasis on data-led and technology-driven media solutions, and focus on customer acquisition, conversion and retention across Hyundai Motor Group’s global footprint.
“We are pleased to extend our partnership with Havas Media Network, reflecting our shared commitment to delivering stronger, data-led media performance across key global markets,” said Steve Jun, head of global business at Innocean.
Peter Mears, global CEO of Havas Media Network, added the renewal builds on a long-standing relationship between the two companies, "In extending our storied relationship, we look forward to driving transformative business outcomes through Converged.AI, creating seamless, data-driven media experiences that are as innovative as the Hyundai Motor Group brands we proudly champion.”
In related market moves, in Malaysia, Innocean appointed Mad Hat Asia for PR and communications on a 12-month retainer until April 2026. Earlier this month, Innocean Malaysia also picked Shaun Tay's The Shout Group to develop advertising materials for Hyundai’s Malaysian market.
