MediaCom has appointed Josh Gallagher as the agency’s first Asia-Pacific chief product officer.
Gallagher joins from Havas Group, where he was APAC chief strategy officer. Before that, Gallagher was CSO for Havas Media APAC, and also worked at Zenith, UM and Kruse Digital.
In his new role, Gallagher will be responsible for developing MediaCom’s product offering, focusing on content, digital, strategy, data and technology. He will also sit on MediaCom’s APAC leadership team.
Gallagher said: “It's prime time to innovate in our industry and with a nice sense of momentum at MediaCom, it is very achievable.”
Mark Heap, MediaCom APAC CEO, said the new role was a challenging one to fill, and that Gallagher had the right experience to succeed.
