Currently the chief strategy officer of MEC Asia Pacific, Vogel will continue this role though taking up the new position. Vogel is charged with refining and growing the strategic services offerings by MEC while increasing brand importance in Australia.
Vogel will officially take on the role in January 2009 when the current general manager of MEC Sydney, Adrian Smith, will relocate to Melbourne.
