The group will deliver an integrated marketing campaign with the aim of positioning PHD-Pizza Hut Delivery as the preferred delivery service in Greater Jakarta, Bogor, Bandung and Surabaya.

The home delivery and takeaway sector is continuing to see rapid growth across Indonesia, with market research company Euromonitor predicting the market to be worth US$22.5 million.

Berndt Soderbom, president director of McCann Worldgroup Indonesia, said, “Modern Indonesians have more money to spend but increasingly hectic schedules. Takeaway services offer busy city-dwellers a convenient way to save time but still enjoy their meals at home."

The segment is a competitive one, with services flooding the market. "We’re excited about working closely with PHD-Pizza Hut Delivery to develop marketing solutions that cut through the clutter and resonate with consumers,” Soderborn added.

PHD-Pizza Hut Delivery marketing manager Riri Hassan said the brand selected McCann Worldgroup because of its transformational approach to communications. "We are fully committed to continuing to grow our business here in Indonesia and we believe that McCann Worldgroup is best positioned to partner our ambitious growth plan,” he said.
