Jalandoni rejoins the agency after a storied career in the Philippines working across a variety of agencies.

This is Jalandoni’s second stint at Leo Burnett. He was the agency’s creative head in Manila between 1997 and 2007, working on accounts that included McDonald’s and Procter & Gamble.

He subsequently joined McCann Erickson in Manila where he led a multi-disciplinary team on brands including San Miguel and Coca-Cola.

He then left to establish his own boutique shop The Bleasurites in 2009. The start-up won a
suite of clients including Nikon, Manila Water and NorthPine Land.

At Leo Burnett, Jalandoni has been briefed to handle the creatives for McDonald’s and Heineken, with digital at the heart of the campaigns.

Margaret Huang, managing director of Leo Burnett Taiwan, said Jalandoni’s appointment would help maintain high standards of creativity and offer clients communications that "change human behaviour”.
