The new brand and identity is in line with an enlarged vision and expansion plans, according to the agency.

VLT’s symbol is a velociraptor, chosen for its agility, intelligence, and its Asian roots.

Warren Tan, who was previously the managing director of Integricity Interactive, will continue to head VLT as CEO.

Eugene Lim, the previous general manager, will become COO, while Jason Voon, the previous account director, will be director of client services.

Tan said the agency will be enlarging its service offering, making acquisitions and expanding in the ASEAN region.

“We are looking to go beyond our Malaysian shores, and also beyond the usual disciplines of a ‘traditional’ digital agency,” he told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “We're looking at expanding our content, mobile, and strategic consulting services, as well as launching a new innovation and incubation division,”

Tan added that VLT, currently headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, is planning to open offices in Singapore and Jakarta this year, and is looking for agency partners who need a strong digital arm.

Integricity Interactive used to be under The Integricity Group, which is led by group managing director Alex Lam and will continue to focus on technology, photography and videography, and events.
