SINGAPORE - Baey Yam Keng (pictured), managing director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies Singapore, will be taking on a new role as senior advisor next month.

H+K Singapore appoints Baey to new role; to appoint new MD

The appointment will see him to continue to provide counsel to clients, in line with the agency’s strategy in Asia for senior talent to focus on client service.

James Heimowitz, president and CEO, Asia, and chairman, China, at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, said  the arrangement will allow Baey to spend more time on his public role.

Baey is also the Member of Parliament for Tampines GRC, representing the ruling People’s Action Party.

“We are close to appointing a new managing director and will make further announcements on this shortly,” Heimowitz told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “Ng Chip Keng, our executive director in Singapore is helping during the transition period.”

Baey was promoted as the managing director January last year, responsible for leading, managing and developing Hill & Knowlton’s operations and people in Singapore.
