Guthy-Renker hires PHD for media business in Australia

SYDNEY - Market leader in home shopping Guthy-Renker has appointed PHD to run its multi-million dollar media strategy, planning and buying account in Australia.

The appointment is across all Guthy-Renker brands including Proactiv, Zumba, Meaningful Beauty and Sheer Cover.

The account is the second win for PHD's newly established performance marketing team, following the Google Australia account win.

Andy Littlewood, director of analytics and direct, will be heading up the account with analytics to be one of the driving disciplines for the business.

On the appointment, Mark Boyle, MD of Guthy-Renker, said: "We were highly impressed by PHD's experience, understanding and passion for our business. We look forward to a strong future relationship and continued innovation within the direct response space."
