Gareth Finch joins Burson-Marsteller Sydney as manager of healthcare

SYDNEY - Burson-Marsteller (B-M) Sydney has appointed Gareth Finch (pictured) as manager of its healthcare practice, overseeing major clients like Sanofi-Aventis, Gilead, Influenza Specialist Group and Australian Lung Foundation.

Finch will report to Brian West, market leader at B-M Australia. Gareth has built a career in healthcare with experience in prescription medications, medical technology, OTC treatments and natural therapies. He will also be focusing on digital strategic communication for clients at B-M.

“B-M understands that the healthcare industry is a rapidly evolving arena which requires deep market knowledge and innovative concepts to drive successful campaigns,” said Gareth.

Seperately, B-M has put Christine Jones in charge as the managing director for Asia-Pacific in March. She is also based in Australia.
