DHL takes title sponsor for Hong Kong 2010 Bledisloe Cup

HONG KONG - The Hong Kong Rugby Football Union (HKRFU) has announced the appointment of DHL as title sponsor for the upcoming Hong Kong 2010 Bledisloe Cup, which kicks off at the Hong Kong Stadium on 30 October.

The DHL Hong Kong 2010 Bledisloe Cup will bring New Zealand's All Blacks and Australia's Wallabies together to battle it out live in Hong Kong.

"We are proud of our ongoing support for world rugby, and delighted to be sponsoring one of the most exciting rugby fixtures of the year for fans across Hong Kong and around the world," said Jerry Hsu, president, DHL Express Greater China Area and executive VP, Deutsche Post DHL.

"The sport shares similar traits with DHL Express – success is derived from passion, teamwork and a 'Can-do' spirit. We look forward to enjoying the match on 30 October and continuing our support for the international game next year as Worldwide Partner for the Rugby World Cup 2011," he added.

DHL recently announced that DHL Express will be a global partner with the Rugby World Cup 2011 in New Zealand. DHL will be responsible for ticket distribution as well as express shipments and international and domestic freight movements. Previous DHL support includeds sponsorship of ESPN Star Sports' rugby broadcasts in Asia-Pacific.
