DEN hires Fox's Andrew Cordwell to head digital sales in Australia

SYDNEY – Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), a digital audio and video player company under independent production company MCM Media, has appointed Andrew Cordwell (pictured) to lead its new digital sales unit as digital commercial director.

Cordwell was formerly the national sales director at Fox Interactive Media where he managed digital clients including MySpace.com, rottentomatoes.com and askmen.com. He has also held senior sales positions at News Digital Media, the Nine Network and Ninemsn.

"MCM has a unique multi-platform offering that effectively engages and connects brands with consumers who are passionate about their entertainment choice," said Cordwell.

Cordwell's appointment will precede several new distribution partners for DEN in the coming months.

MCM Media is a leading Australian producer of national radio, online, television and mobile content and delivers innovative marketing solutions to its advertiser clients. DEN launched in July last year and has since grown its unique browsers by 58 per cent. It hosts an average of 4.4 million audio and video streams a month.
