China Telecom reviews online media

BEIJING - China Telecom has called an online media pitch, reportedly involving incumbent Starcom IP, Neo@Ogilvy, HYLZ and Allyes.

China Telecom reviews online media
Offline media buying and planning will continue to be handled by Starcom Beijing, which won the account in March last year.

The review is believed to be driven by the newly-launched 3G Tianyi brand.

“Digital is going to be important for China Telecom. The client is believed to be looking for a full-service digital shop driven by creative,” a source said.

Havas' Euro RSCG Beijing won the creative account for China Telecom earlier this year after.

China Telecom is one of the three major telcos on the mainland, together with China Unicom and China Mobile. The trio are currently rolling out 3G offers.
