Bristol-Myers Squibb calls media buying pitch in China

SHANGHAI - Global biopharmaceutical company Bristol-Myers Squibb has called a media buying pitch in China.

It is understood that several undisclosed agencies have already been shortlisted for the business. Agencies are now are waiting for a brief and pitch date.

The incumbent agency on the account is Mindshare.

The pitch is for Bristol-Myers Squibb's over the counter medicines, including its vitamins.

Earlier this month, Bristol-Meyers Squibb agreed a new collaboration with Simcere Pharmaceutical Group, a China-based company, to jointly develop a new cancer treatment.
