
Beacon Healthcare's offering ranges from developing pharmaceutical implementation strategies, including market analysis, to the planning and implementation of communication strategies for healthcare professionals, patients, and the general public.
According to beacon president Nicolas Menat, healthcare is one of the few areas of growth with great business opportunities due to Japan's increasingly ageing society.
"We initiated the partnership with Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG) to combine their expertise and best practices coming from the West, and our team of experts with in-depth local market understanding," he added.
Beacon Healthcare is lead by Yuta Kaneko as managing director. He was appointed in June this year from his role as executive director at The Nielsen Company since July 2001.
According to a company release, the addition of Beacon Healthcare to the Japanese PHCG agency portfolio is part of a major strategic push to further develop its healthcare offering in the Asia-Pacific region.
On the partnership, PHCG president for Asia-Pacific Ash Kuchel said: "It's what the healthcare industry has been asking for and we have the business model to satisfy their needs."
