Bates Taiwan wins Bomi and Saugella creative accounts

TAIPEI - Bates Taiwan has won two pitches for local accounts, Bomi (波蜜一日蔬果) and Saugella.

Bates Taiwan reported that for the Bomi pitch (波蜜)一日蔬果 (translated as "fruits and vegetables a person needs in one day"), which took place on 16 October, involoved four agencies: ADK, Wu's Advertising(吳是廣告) and another local agency in addition to Bates.

Wu's Advertising had previously held the account. 

Bates won the Saugella feminine hygiene product pitch after a three-way pitch against Inspire and another undisclosed agency.

ECD Kenny Chien and group account director Amy Lu led the Bomi pitch team, while GM Maggie Chao, group account director Janet Ko, ECD Kenny Chien and CD Benjamin Tzang led the Saugella pitch team.

Maggie Chao, GM of Bates Asia, told Campaign Asia-Pacific that the win showed great chemistry between the team members and that "Bates has unique opinions and points of view in terms of brand operations in different product categories".

The two wins add to Bates Taiwan's other new business wins this year, including the Taiwan Life creative account in September.
