Adidas showcases young women who create by kicking some serious ass

In its latest China campaign, Adidas is spotlighting actress Ning Chang (who is shown running and taking part in Muay Thai), ranked tennis player Coco Xu, track-and-field champion Liu Hong, and the China women’s national volleyball team. Through the campaign, according to the agency, the stars share "their individual journey to become the person they want to be, through their preferred sport."

Ad Nut is just happy to see these young athletes portrayed with an intensity commensurate with their obvious prowess and competitive drive. The brand has come a long way in a short time on this front.

The campaign, which launched on 7 March, includes TVCs, prominent LCD OOH placements, and online pre-roll on key video sites. The TVCs with Ning Chang (below) and Coco Xu (above) are running now, with the other two slated to appear in April.
