Liu will be responsible for providing overall direction regarding strategic objectives, manpower plans and the P&L for the business in both Hong Kong and Macau.

Liu won the general manager post, according to Mark Barrett, Imagination’s regional CEO, because of her ability to work with people from a multitude of backgrounds.

Prior to joining Imagination, she was general manager at rival agency MCI Hong Kong. That followed 12 years of experience in sales, account management and operations in the industry. A native of Singapore, she speaks fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Andrew Au and Michael Chiay recently joined Imagination's management team, during November 2013 and February 2014, respectively. Chiay also came from MCI.

"[Liu] has a natural flair as a cross-cultural communicator,” Barrett said, “and is skilled at pulling together multi-national teams to ensure business results".
