Shahvez Afridi to lead P&G strategy plans for Grey

ASIA-PACIFIC - Grey Group Asia-Pacific recently promoted Shahvez Afridi to head of strategy. He will lead Grey’s approach for the Procter & Gamble account, overseeing execution for brands such as Pantene, Gillette and Febreze.

Afridi, a former automobile engineer, has 19 years experience in consumer insights and brand strategy in the Asia-Pacific region. His career includes stints at Coca-Cola, Nielsen, BBDO, Lowe and Leo Burnett.

The new role reports to Nirvik Singh, chairman and CEO of Grey Group Asia-Pacific and Tamara Ingram, president and CEO, Team P&G.

“As a planner who has won at every major effectiveness award, Shahvez has definitely demonstrated his ability to take on a bigger role within the network,” Singh said. “His appointment as a thought leader on P&G brands is a clear indication on what we hope to achieve with Procter & Gamble.”
