Rapp Tribal NZ hires Andy Bell as GM

AUCKLAND - Andy Bell, formerly general manager at Aim Proximity, has taken on the same role at Rapp Tribal New Zealand.

Rapp Tribal NZ hires Andy Bell as GM

Over the last four and a half years, Bell has held a strong client service focus with both the Aim Proximity role, and his prior position as head of integration with Colenso.

His appointment is effective immediately.

Rob Limb, Rapp Tribal managing director, says the new hire is a coup for the digital agency.

“This is a fantastic hire for Rapp Tribal and the timing is impeccable. It signals the next phase of growth and development as we position ourselves to take advantage of unique capabilities; an outcome of combining two great agencies 12 months ago," he said.

Among the clients Bell will be working with is Telecom New Zealand. Charlotte Findlay, head of marketing communications for the company, said, "Andy brings with him a depth of telco experience. He has a unique blend of digital, direct and business smarts that make him a great partner to work with."

Bell says he is excited to be taking on the role, particularly given the timing of the move. “Rob and the team have done a cracking job of positioning the agency for the future," he said. "It's the start of something pretty interesting and I'm absolutely stoked to have the opportunity to be part of it,"
