JWT Melbourne hires Andrew Lee as new digital operations manager

MELBOURNE - JWT Melbourne has boosted its digital team with the appointment of Andrew Lee to the newly-created role of digital operations manager, effective immediately.

Lee joins the agency from GPY&R Melbourne where he helped manage growth across staff, capabilities and revenue, including one of the largest digital accounts in the country, Defence Force Recruiting. 

He brings over 10 years' experience in the technology arena, beginning his career in web development before moving to the agency side.

JWT Melbourne has been steadily lifting digital output, including the recent launch of upgraded web and mobile tools to support the Federal Department of Health and Ageing initiative 'Swap It, don't stop it'. The agency also recently created a world-first creative writing community site and mobile app for the Melbourne Writers Festival, called 'Stories unbound'.

On his appointment, Lee said: “I am excited to begin working with the team at JWT in Melbourne. Their approach to integrating digital across all client strategy really appealed to me, and I am looking forward to exciting times ahead.”
