Sanofi-Aventis' Cenovis hires Hill & Knowlton Sydney to APAC business

Sanofi-Aventis' Cenovis hires Hill & Knowlton Sydney to APAC business

H&K will lead strategic PR developments for Cenovis across key markets in Asia-Pacific. The account will be led out of the Sydney office. The win comes after a three-way pitch held in August. There was no incumbent agency for the account.

Cenovis has a 50-year history in Australia and recently entered Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. The decision to appoint H&K is part of the plan to drive awareness in new markets.

Sue Cook, regional director of healthcare for APAC at H&K said: “An increasing awareness of preventive healthcare amongst Asian consumers has resulted in a growing trend in vitamin and mineral supplement use across the region.”

Senior brand manager Greg Hepple at Sanofi-aventis International also commented: “The team at H&K completely understood our brand and provided us with excellent strategic insights, creative thinking and local country expertise that will really help us support Cenovis across Asia.”

H&K Australia recently appointed Marcus Warner as managing director, Penelope Holloway as director of consumer lifestyle and Mandi Bateson as director of digital.
