Sagami Gomu | Love Distance | Japan

A couple living a long distance relationship for two-and-a-half years, one in Tokyo, the other in Fukuoka, are determined to close the distance to 0.02mm by Christmas Eve.

Creative agency GT rolled out a teaser campaign titled Love Distance for an unidentified brand campaign in early December featuring two lovers. To prove their love, they were determined to run to each other - a distance of 1,000km - meeting in the middle by Christmas Eve.

The website features the two characters’ profiles, real-time videos and blog dialogues between them and visitors can use interactive tools to cheer for the couple.

The website launched a clip every week documenting their journeys and eventually revealed the product on December 24 - the world thinnest condom.

All videos can be viewed at the Love Distance channel on YouTube.
