Victor Ng resigns as chief creative officer of Euro RSCG Singapore and Southeast Asia

SINGAPORE - Victor Ng (pictured), chief creative officer for Euro RSCG Singapore and Southeast Asia, has resigned after two years at the agency's creative helm.

Victor Ng resigns as chief creative officer of Euro RSCG Singapore and Southeast Asia

Ng joined Euro RSCG Singapore and was promoted to executive creative director in 2008. Following a series of creative accolades and new business wins, he was elevated to his current role last year.

Among Ng’s achievements in the last two years, he has steered the previously unranked agency to a top-two finish in Media’s Creative Rankings while the Havas firm was also named Southeast Asia office of the year in 2009.

According to a statement from Ng, he will be taking a break to pursue other creative interests. When contacted, Ng further said that he had not made plans on where he would be headed to next.

“My decision to leave Euro RSCG was a tough one, but I leave with a deep sense of satisfaction and pride," he said. "Our Southeast Asia offices have taken huge steps forward and I'm sure Euro will continue to be successful with its strong leadership.

“I'm going to take some time away and open myself to new creative pursuits and a new beginning. Sometimes you have to step out of the picture to see the bigger picture. As I take stock of my journey, I'm excited about the road ahead. There have been many highs and lows, people and places that I'm truly grateful for."
