Vaasu Gavarasana heads to AXA Singapore

SINGAPORE - Yahoo's APAC head of business marketing, Vaasu Gavarasana, is to join insurance company AXA's Singapore office as head of digital operations, according to sources.

Gavarasana could not be reached for a comment, and email questions to AXA went unanswered. 

Gavarsana joined Yahoo's Singapore office in 2011, relocating from India to lead the firm's Procter & Gamble business. In 2012, he was promoted to head the company's digital marketing solutions for APAC and became head of B2B marketing last year. 

Gavarasana is expected to report to Li Choo Kwek Perroy, CMO of AXA Singapore. Perroy joined the insurer in 2011.
