Thai creativity tops Adfest in Film, Press, Poster and Outdoor category

TOKYO - Adfest attracts the best of advertising creativity in the annual awards festival; Thailand tops the list in the Film, Press, Poster and Outdoor category winning nearly a dozen awards followed by Singapore and Philippines.

With more than 50 advertising agencies from Asia participating in Adfest, the international awards event which took place in Tokyo showcased the mettle of several small-to-medium advertising sized firms. 

Thailand topped the list in the Film, Press, Poster and Outdoor category winning nearly a dozen awards followed by Singapore and Philippines. 

In the Film Lotus category, Thailand won two Silver Lotuses in the Best of Health and Personal Care for Forever Love Dentiste Toothpaste by JEH United and Fight It for Nature Gift by O&M, Bangkok. 

In the Best of Fashion and Cosmetics category, Thailand once again came tops with a Silver and a Bronze respectively for its Xerox and Coffee Pot Single for MC Jeans.

JWT and BBDO Thailand won Gold and a Bronze Lotus in the Best of Retail for Ballroom Top Chareon Optical and One Baht promotion respectively while by Good Fight by TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno of the Philippines took home a Bronze.  

Silver Lotus was awarded to the Funeral ad developed for Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports Single for Best of Social Engagements was won by Leo Burnett, Singapore, while Folder Film by DDB, Singapore won Bronze for its Internet Film category.

In the Press Lotus category, JWT Singapore's Equally Sweet/Equally Dark Campaign for Best Confectionary and Snacks took a Gold while Lifebuoy Handwash's Dog advertisement by Lowe Indonesia was awarded Bronze in the Best of Health and Personal Care.

Carl Zeiss Lenses campaign by BBDO Singapore won Bronze in the Best of Fashion and Cosmetics category while Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Philippines was awarded a Best and a Bronze for Vespa Single and Campaign. 

Euro RSCG clinched a Bronze for Singapore for its Screaming Babies ad in the Best of Electronics category while  Creative Juice\Bangkok (TBWA) took Gold and Silver respectively for Marble and Ceramic Single for 3M Cushion Wrap for Best of Household Products and Maintenance.

Malaysia's Naga DDB/Rapp and Thailand's Ogilvy & Mather both won a Bronze for Best of Business equipment for their Handwritten Newspaper and Elephant Single developed for Stabilo Marathon Pen and Polar Bear clients respectively. 

Ogilvy Indonesia's Fuji Quicksnap Marine's Feet Single won a silver in the Best of Entertainment, Recreation and Leisure category while JWT Singapore won a Silver for Noughts and Crosses Campaign for Best of Social Engagements for WWF.

A Best, Silver and a Bronze went  Creative Juice\Bangkok (TBWA) for its 3M Cushion Wrap campaign and for the Best of Household Products and Maintenance in the Poster Lotus category. Ogilvy & Mather Thailand's Elephant was awarded Bronze in the Best of Business equipment category while Leo Burnett & Arc Worldwide Thailand won Bronze for Single for Best of Communication Media and Publications for its Bullet Hole work for Zup-Zip Magazine.

Thailand once again topped the list in the Outdoor Lotus category with McCann Erickson Thailand winning a Silver for its Hygiene Colour Wash stain remover campaign in the External/ Street Signs and Street Furniture category while Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Philippines's Outdoor Essentials campaign won a Silver for Ambient category. 

DDB DM9JaymeSyfu and Ace Saatchi & Saatchi Philippines Philippines won a Silver Lotus each for Gabriela iVow Signature Guerilla Marketing Single and campaign respectively for Outdoor Essentials. 

Lowe & Partners, Malaysia's Plant for Earth Day won a Silver for Single for Point of Purchase (POP) Display as well as for its Campaign.
