Spark PHD elevates two veterans to managing director

NEW ZEALAND - Spark PHD, PHD’s New Zealand media agency, has promoted company veterans Nikki Grafton and Stuart Rutherford as its new managing directors.

With over 20 years’ experience in the firm between them, Grafton and Rutherford will be playing a vital role in leading the management team. Louise Bond, CEO of the Spark Group of companies, said that the promotions reflect their significant contributions to the agency, as well as the respect they’ve earned from the industry.

Both Grafton and Rutherford are optimistic about their new roles with the company. “2011 is set to be a promising year and with the support of our incredible team, Nikki and I are looking forward to using our experience in the industry and history with Spark PHD to take the business to the next level,” explained Rutherford. 

Grafton added, “Over the business’ 12 year history, it has been the significant and valuable contributions of the individuals that have established us as a market leader”.  

Meanwhile, Cheuk Chiang, PHD’s Asia-Pacific CEO, said Grafton and Rutherford have PHD in their blood as they are dynamic, innovative and progressive, and looks forward to them leading the business to go from strength to strength.
