Lee will be leading the overall operation and new business development in Hong Kong.

A 15-year media marketing veteran, Lee hails from Global Sources as group marketing manager of the China Business Group. Before that, she was head of regional content management and community for Hong Kong and Taiwan at Next Media Interactive.

"The newly-emerging social networking service and the rising popularity of microblogging (Weibo) definitely will open up more opportunities for Sina Hong Kong," said Lee.

Reported in March, Sina Hong Kong and eLadies.hk, a women's fashion and lifestyle potrtal, appointed Pixel Media as its exclusive online advertising sales network.
