ASIA-PACIFIC – OgilvyOne has appointed AKQA's group creative director John Jakubowsk as its regional ECD.

OgilvyOne appoints regional ECD

Jakubowsk's appointment marks the completion of OgilvyOne's regional management team. He joins Chris Reitermann president of OgilvyOne Greater China, Susana Tsui regional president of Neo@Ogilvy, Barney Loehnis OgilvyOne's regional head of digital, regional VP of consumer experience Pete Moss, Lucy McCabe, vice-president of consulting services and and Supavadee Tantiyanon who also assumed a regional consulting role in December last year.

The regional team will work with CEO Jerry Smith to implement the network's global focus. Smith was appointed in July last year.

"I am delighted that JJ will be joining our team in Asia-Pacific as we pioneer many of the new challenges of the digital revolution," said Smith. "I am expecting great things from John especially in helping develop our creative product beyond CRM to a new era of collaborative and participation marketing where the consumer is helping to define the value of products and brands."

At AKQA Jakubowsk led global accounts including Xbox and Coca-Cola. He has won over 30 industry awards for creative campaigns. Jakubowsk has also worked at Digitas, Modem Media and Paramount.
