Ogilvy PR appoints digital VP for Asia

SYDNEY - Brian Giesen (pictured), a seven-year veteran of Ogilvy PR and most recently vice-president and senior strategist with the agency's 360° Digital Influence Group in Washington, has relocated to a newly created parallel role in Asia-Pacific.

Based in Sydney, Giesen will oversee the continuous expansion of the agency’s digital offerings to clients.

Giesen has more than ten years of experience developing, managing and executing a range of digital marketing and social media campaigns for brands such as Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, DuPont and Lenovo.

Giesen will report to Thomas Crampton, Asia-Pacific regional director of 360° Digital Influence, who assumed his role last month.
