BBDO won the account following a competitive pitch against JWT and incumbent agency InTai. The agency is set to reposition the brand in Taiwan.

The lingerie market is increasingly competitive. According to sources close to the pitch, MG is looking to promote both the comfort and style of the product lines.

The first campaign is expected to air in two months time with promotions across television, print, online and in-store displays.

MG is a leading brand targeting young females in Taiwan. The brand encourages women to be confident about their body type.

Seperately, BBDO Taiwan announced in February that Eddy Fu will be taking over as CEO of the Taiwanese operation.
