McCann Erickson and Momentum MDs leave roles in Thailand

BANGKOK - Angsana Chongsrichan, managing director of McCann Erickson, and Thany Sakornsinthuthe, managing director of Momentum, have both resigned from their positions in Thailand.

McCann appointed former Carlsberg UK marketer Sakornsinthu as managing director of Momentum Thailand following the departure of Vijja Vajaranant in May 2008.

He joined from local activation outfit Idea Tak Nor.

According to regional director for McCann Worldgroup in Asia-Pacific, Michael McLaren, McCann is now assessing its needs for the management positions. He said that in the interim, the group's directors will report directly to Monica White, CEO of McCann Thailand.
