The 12-month retainer came after a pitch against three other local and international agencies in January. The agency already started work last month, organising a media briefing for Lexus to announce the company’s direction for the year.

Ruder Finn will also handle a car launch for Lexus next month.

“Ever since the Lexus brand started its operations in Singapore some two decades ago, the brand has built a strong reputation among locals for its automotive excellence, quality and refinement, and service standards,” Klaus Redomske, marketing director of Borneo Motors Singapore, said.

“As part of Lexus’ ongoing pursuit of excellence, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Ruder Finn Singapore. We are confident that this partnership will further enhance Lexus’ leadership and mindshare in the luxury automotive scene locally.”

Borneo Motors Singapore is the official distributor of Lexus cars locally.

Commenting on the win, Yu Poh Leng, general manager of Ruder Finn Singapore, said, “It's a privilege to work with Lexus, a brand synonymous with automotive excellence, luxury and world class customer service standards. Ruder Finn has over 60 years of experience in the corporate and luxury sector, and this partnership certainly aligns with our expertise and passion to bring the brand to a new level.”
