Kotcher was appointed president of the agency in 1992 and has held the CEO position since 2000.

Ketchum said as CEO Kotcher transformed the firm, growing the agency’s geographic footprint through acquisitions in China, India and Russia and a joint venture in the Middle East.

Dale Adams, president and CEO of Omnicom’s diversified agency services group, said that during his tenure, Kotcher had "developed and maintained a genuinely talented, effective and stable senior leadership team”.

Flaherty was named president in 2008. As CEO, he will work with Kotcher and other leaders to guide agency strategy.
