Hyundai relaunches Accent model after 11 years 'for guys only'

Hyundai Accent was discontinued and replaced by Hyundai Verna in South Korea 11 years ago.

The new Accent will compete in the subcompact vehicles category, targeting 23 to 28 year-old college students and fresh graduates in Korea.

The relaunched car, offering a 'sexier' choice for men, is fuel-efficient and will retail at an affordable price, ideal for this target group looking for a sleek yet comfortable option.

According to a Hyundai spokesperson, they are aiming to release 500,000 units globally and 20,000 in Korea alone. Accent will also launch in China, Russia, the US and India in the near future.

Hyundai’s creative agency is Innocean Worldwide.
