Hilton calls global PR review for loyalty programme

GLOBAL – Hilton Worldwide is set to call a global PR review for its loyalty programme Hilton HHonors.

Hilton calls global PR review for loyalty programme

It is believed Hilton is aiming to develop global promotions for the brand and the prominence of the Hilton HHonors loyalty programme to drive sales. The brief is also understood to contain a strong digital component.

Hilton HHonors offers customers points and miles for stays at 3,500 hotels worldwide and airline miles with over 50 airline partners, among other benefits.

China is understood to be a major focal point of the review. Hilton Wordwide is planning large-scale expansion in China, as it looks to catch up with its global rivals in one of the world’s fastest-developing hospitality markets. Hilton has plans to raise its number of hotels in China from 14 to 100 in the years to come.

The pitch is expected to kick off at the beginning of December. It remains unclear whether Hilton will pitch the business globally or region by region.
