Samsung Smart TV 2012 hands on

In full HD for this year, the interface hasn't been overhauled but we're still a fan. Three new pre-loaded Samsung Apps take center stage in the Smart Hub for 2012 with a Kids educational section, the Family Story area for sharing photos and memos and a Fitness app that talks to your smartphone for good measure. Windows Phone Tango screenshots leak

Microsoft is gearing up for the next update of its Windows Phone OS, but it looks like some Russians have been dancing the Tango early. Screenshots of Windows Phone 7.6 Tango have leaked on Russian site WP7forum.ru, showing off some of its new features. Those features include a native voice recording app and the ability to add multiple attachments to a single MMS message. You'll also be able to automatically download and update apps via Zune, as well as manage roaming settings. See screenshots...

BlackBerry launches trade-up site

RIM's been having a pretty torrid time of it recently, so it's not surprising that it wants to hang on to loyal BlackBerry customers. With that in mind, RIM's launched a new online trade-in site that lets BlackBerry owners net up to US$165 (£106) for their old blowers, as long as they upgrade to one of the listed devices. The trade-up devices include the BlackBerry Curve 9360, Curve 9380, Torch 9860, Torch 9810, Bold 9790 and Bold 9900. Acer A500 to get the Android 4.0 treatment

Acer has just announced that its shiny A500 slate will be getting a dollop of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich come April. The announcement, made by Acer Australia and New Zealand, isn't very forthcoming with the specifics - so we don't have an exact rollout date - but Acer has promised that we'll find out soon.
