Five things to get excited about at C2 Montréal

C2 is a conference that brings together commerce and creativity – but this isn't any old conference, it's bursting with disruptive, inspiring and unexpected ideas and people. Five thousand attendees will pack themselves into The Arsenal, Montréal for three days of activities – from talks to masterclasses to experimental brainstorming.

Campaign is there – and we can't wait. Here are five things we’re looking forward to:

1. Brain-dating
Who says networking anymore? Brain-dating is the future. At C2, you pick who you want to talk to using an app – and meet up in a fun, inspiring environment. If you want to have a meaningful conversation, or connect with that entrepreneur who's going to change the world, this is the way to do it.

2. Outdoor space
Most conferences take place in glorified sheds, cut off from daylight. Not C2. There’s plenty to do outside, from interactive workshops to pop-up shops and live entertainment. Get some fresh air and unleash your creativity.

3. Lively debate
From entrepreneurship to women in business, this year's debate topics promise to get you thinking. Our pick of the week is "Brands in the age of many," including thinkers from Pepsico, Sid Lee and IHG group.

4.Talks
C2 brings the finest creative minds in the business to share their pearls of wisdom – and this year's event is set to be one of the best yet. David Suzuki; Martha Stewart; and the brains behind AirBnB, Grindr and Cirque du Soleil lift the lid on the future of work, collaboration and media. Want to know what they predict? Watch this space.

5.The unknown
Here's what really makes C2 unique – it’s unpredictable. The creators constantly challenge themselves to shake things up with new and exciting events and experiences. We may find ourselves dangling from the ceiling, talking to our industry idols or in our own fantasy VR world – who knows? Join us on our journey ...
