Euro RSCG China promotes Alex Phung to head of digital

BEIJING - Euro RSCG China has announced the promotion of Alex Phung to the dual role of head of digital and group creative director for Euro RSCG 4D China.

His previous position was group creative director of 4D China, a role he held for the last three years. In the expanded position, he will be responsible for growing the agency’s digital offering across the Shanghai and Beijing offices.

Originally from Malaysia, Phung has ten years of digital marketing experience in 4A advertising agencies, beginning at Arachnid and OgilvyOne Malaysia. Prior to joining Euro RSCG 4D China, he worked for Agenda Beijing. He has been in China for a total of five years.

“Alex is really the complete package: passionate about digital marketing, and a brilliant creative who delivers effective solutions for our clients,” said Edward Su, managing director, Euro RSCG China.

“Euro RSCG China has acquired a considerable number of digital clients over the past year and a half, and Alex has been a key part of that success,” said Mason Lin, CEO, Euro RSCG Greater China.

Alex will divide his time between Beijing and Shanghai, and report directly to Su.
