18-year-old Suchita Baraik works as a domestic help to support her ageing parents. But thatís not it. In the evening, she runs a school where she teaches around 60 kids from the nearby #slums. She was forced to quit school around four years ago because of unfavourable financial conditions at home. Her father is bed-ridden and her mother met with an accident a few months ago. She had no choice but to take up odd jobs to provide for her family. Suchita started the school in January with the help of Sikandar Lohra. They scouted the area around the airport in Hinoo and tried to convince residents to send their #children to #school. While her unwavering spirit is commendable, Suchita faces many challenges, but believes that when there is a will, there is a way. Also, she has plans to reach out to various authorities to procure the bare minimum resources required to operate a fully functional all-weather school.
