Eclat Entertainment partners with YouTube to create a Spotv channel for sports

SEOUL - South Korea-based Eclat Entertainment has announced a partnership with YouTube to create a Spotv channel on the website that will showcase live sports and local baseball, football and basketball videos-on-demand,

The free-to-view channel will feature 4,000 hours of live sports coverage and will include video-on-demand access to full-length Korean baseball, K-League football and Korean Basketball League matches and highlights. It will also include international football leagues.

The channel is a classic YouTube advertising platform.

“With the opening of this channel, fans of Korean sports now have control over how and when they access their favourite teams’ matches,” said John Vamvakitis, YouTube's head of sports partnerships in Asia-Pacific.
