Dentsu & BlueFocus join forces to launch new PR company Dentsu BlueFocus

BEIJING - Dentsu Group today announced the launch of a new public relations company called Dentsu BlueFocus (Beijing) in a joint venture with Chinese PR firm BlueFocus Communications.

Dentsu BlueFocus will launch in early May. Luo Bin, vice-president of BlueFocus PR Consulting, will head up the company as managing director.

BlueFocus Communications Group is a Chinese public relations company with a network spanning 23 cities in China.

BlueFocus brings its national network expertise and media and government relations experience to the mix while Dentsu and Dentsu PR contribute their experience in PR planning and crisis management consulting.

Through the establishment of the joint venture, Dentsu Group aims to enhance its strenghts in PR service and establish a solid framework for the provision of comprehensive communications services to client companies, according to a release.

BlueFocus holds a 51 per cent share in the new company followed by Dentsu with 34 per cent and Dentsu PR with 15 per cent.
