Proximity Shop will enhance BBDO Proximity’s existing CRM and digital credentials across the agency’s portfolio of clients including SingTel, Aviva, Diageo and Fonterra.

Jane Perry (pictured) will lead the operation. Perry joins from iris Nation where she was responsible for creating and leading a global retail centre of excellence for its longstanding client Sony Ericsson. Prior to this, Perry worked with Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide in driving intellectual capital including the development of white papers, conferences and seminars for clients including Procter & Gamble, Philip Morris and Diageo.
Perry will build a retail specialist team to provide clients with campaigns that increase retail and shopper effectiveness and commercial retail value across the region.

“We have been talking to Jane and a number of our clients for some time on the creative and business potential of a shopper marketing division that could leverage our current client base and build a standalone practice," said Jean-Paul Burge, president of BBDO/Proximity Southeast Asia and CEO of BBDO Singapore. "Attracting Jane to lead this was the key and we are delighted she has agreed to join.”
