Alcatel-Lucent appoints Elizabeth Aris as APAC marketing head

SHANGHAI - Elizabeth Aris has been appointed to join Alcatel-Lucent's APAC head office in Shanghai as head of marketing, strategy and public affairs for Asia Pacific.

Aris will report to Rajeev Singh-Molares, president of Alcatel-Lucent for the Asia Pacific region.

Aris was most recently executive director of corporate strategy for Telstra. She also had another role as executive director for two segments within Telstra Business, the company's small business and corporate-focused division.

In addition, her resume also includes serving as strategy consultant for Microsoft, and senior management positions with SAP and Westpac Banking Corporation.

Alcatel-Lucent is a listed transformation partner of service providers, enterprises, strategic industries such as defense, energy, healthcare, transportation, and governments worldwide, providing solutions to deliver voice, data and video communication services to end-users, including clients like China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Telstra, SingTel and NTT DoCoMo.
