The adidas Auckland marathon is using an unbeatable rubber duck as the theme for this year's event, calling on the estimated 11,000 runners to think like the duck in order to prove that 'Impossible is nothing'.

The different elements of the campaign are being launched in phases. The posters repeat the line'I'm a rubber duck', which cannot be hurt in the same way that ordinary flesh and bones can.

A five-metre inflatable rubber duck will make random appearances in the city alongside other multi-channel advertising.
